Whether you’re brand new to EQ8 or you’ve had the software sitting on your computer waiting for “someday,” this class is designed to help you finally feel confident using it.
Join us for a full day of hands-on learning as we explore the powerful features of EQ8 and turn your quilting ideas into real quilt designs. You’ll learn how to confidently navigate the software, create and edit quilt blocks, experiment with layouts and borders, and design quilts that are uniquely your own.
Throughout the day we’ll cover:
• Navigating the EQ8 workspace and worktables
• Using the Project Sketchbook to organize your designs
• Editing and customizing blocks from the EQ library
• Creating quilt layouts, borders, and color variations
• Printing patterns and calculating yardage
• Tips and tricks to make designing easier and more fun
This class is all about learning by doing — no staring at the screen wondering which button to click next. By the end of class, you’ll have completed designs, built confidence in the software, and gained the skills to continue designing quilts on your own.
