Join us for a fun and creative one-day workshop where you'll learn how to make a beautiful Cuddle® quilted bag using a Handi Quilter longarm machine!

This hands-on class is designed to introduce quilters to bag-making techniques on the longarm while working with the soft texture and unique characteristics of Cuddle® fabric. You'll learn tips and tricks for quilting Cuddle®, handling bulky fabrics, and creating a finished bag you'll be proud to carry.

During this workshop you'll learn:

• Techniques for quilting Cuddle® fabric on a longarm

• Tips for working with thicker fabrics and stabilizers

• Longarm quilting techniques for bag projects

• Bag construction and assembly

• Finishing techniques for a polished look

Participants will work directly on Handi Quilter longarm machines and receive step-by-step instruction throughout the day.

This workshop is a great follow-up to the Longarm Quilting Essentials Workshop on September 11–12, but experienced longarm quilters are welcome to attend as well.

Skill Level: Beginner to Intermediate
